She is a graduate of a Westmont Hilltop Highschool in 1996 , finishing third in her class. She went on to graduate from St Francis College in 2000 with a BS in Physician Assistant Sciences. At that time she finished first in her class and scored top 1 percentile on the certification examination for the NCCPA PANCE. She completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree with specialization in Nephrology from the University of Nebraska in August of 2001. She has served as Vice Chair for the CAQ exams for both Hospital Medicine and Nephrology for the NCCPA. She began work as a Physician Assistant in August of 2000 with Johnstown Internists and worked with Dr Harry Pote in Internal Medicine and Nephrology until 2015. During that time she also had experience working in Urgent Care, Pulmonary and Family Practice Settings. She most recently has worked in Internal Medicine until helping found this practice in October of 2019. She is also affiliated with Dr Frem at the Kidney Center and specializes in primary care management of patients with chronic kidney disease.
